She is a proud graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture, where she graduated in 2007 and was commencement speaker at graduation. She is licensed by the state of Massachusetts, and is a Diplomat of Acupuncture of the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Christina also studied at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where she gained valuable knowledge and skill with treating patients undergoing cancer treatment. She lectures on acupuncture as it pertains to infertility and was also part of the research team studying the effects of Gulf War Illness with veterans of the U.S. Military on a grant sponsored by the United States Army.
For over a decade, Christina has been helping women struggling with infertility. Weather it’s trying to conceive on their own with timed intercourse, IUI, or IVF, Christina is a seasoned practitioner who can help. Having worked as a senior staff acupuncturist at Boston IVF for seven years, she is well-versed in Western medical diagnoses and treatment plans. She carefully translates a Western diagnosis to an Eastern medical diagnosis and treats with acupuncture.
Having struggled with her own fertility issues, Christina understands better than anyone that infertility goes far beyond the physical symptoms. Emotions play a huge role in the process. Weather your journey takes one cycle or several, Christina is there every step of the way. From managing stress associated with trying to conceive, to side effects from fertility/stimulating medications, Christina can help.
